What should I do if there is a note conflict?
Orange Notes has implemented a sync algorithm which can largely lower the risk of sync conflict. However, in rare circumstances, a note will conflict with the one on the cloud. This might happen when:
- The network between your device and cloud platform is slow.
- A note is edited on two devices at the same time.
When it happens, conflicted notes category will show in the sidebar, at the same time the note itself will show a lightning ⚡ icon near the note title. The app will provide multiple resolve solutions based on different conflict cases. When you open the conflicted note, you will see the options shown on the right-side panel of the editor.
To lower the risk of conflict, when possible, before editing the note please wait until the note has been fully updated.
